A former Quantico Marine Corps Bandsman, Samuel has evolved into a celebrated composer, music writer, producer, and podcast creator known for blending emotion, folklore, history, and cinematic sound into immersive experiences.
Through Ellisbeetle Entertainment, he creates original music and alternative folk compositions inspired by the spirit and landscapes of America’s national parks. His projects invite audiences into worlds where mystery, music, and storytelling intertwine.
The Haunted Tales of Brierie (HTOB), draws listeners into the astral pitstop of Brierie, a haunting crossroads where music meets mystery and folklore dances with fiction.
The Yarns of the Infinite (YOTI), Every Choice A Destiny. Where the fragile threads of fate weave unseen connections, and every path opens the door to another possibility. Every thread tells a story. Every crossing holds meaning. Every destiny begins with a single choice.
Samuel is also the creator of Ellisbeetle Magazine, a celebration of art, music, storytelling, travel, and adventure, as well as the driving force behind Beetle-Go, a lifestyle brand and creative hub for outdoor gear, exploration, music, and adventure-inspired products.
The Origins of National Spaces
At the heart of National Spaces are the original compositions – the sonorous core that binds each track to the landscapes which inspired it. The visionary behind the music is none other than Samuel Kelly, a former Quantico Marine Corps Bandsman who found his muse on the trails and overlooks of American parks. The bouncing light off the Great Salt Lake at Antelope Island and the whimsical dance of hoodoos at Goblin Valley set the tempo for ballads that will celebrate freedom and life in the open.
